I lost weight on an up day!

Just a quick note because I’m celebrating:
After eating (but not overeating) everything I felt like yesterday, including cake, ice cream, and Junior Mints (can you tell I have a sweet tooth?), I was .6 pounds down this morning. Honestly, I would have been happy with anything up to a 1.5 pound gain, but this is gravy (that’s probably the wrong analogy on a diet blog!).

I know that lots of people don’t like to weigh themselves daily (and that Johnson says to only weigh after a down day), but it works for me. It’s going to be much easier to do today’s down day knowing that it’s really making a difference.
